It's an exciting week for me, being the marketing guy, because most of the promotional elements have suddenly clicked into place.
The posters and postcards have been printed by Scribes on Newland Avenue (who I highly recommend), showcasing the beautiful design skills of Shane Cane (I recommend him highly, too). These are now being distributed to businesses and homes across the Newland Avenue and Princes Avenue areas thanks to the Newland Traders Association and the Assemble Fest promo team, allowing you, our audience, to find out what's on and decide which shows you want to see. (Personally, I think you should see all of them, and I'm not being biased at all as each show looks amazing in its own unique way. Seriously, the creative talent on offer is just ace.)
On top of that we have branded pens and T-shirts on the way, plus adverts in the Hulls Angels match programme for Sunday 13th April and the new issue of Frayed Magazine, which is free to pick up across Hull, York, Leeds and Sheffield. A piece will be going in the Hull Daily Mail very soon and interviews have been booked with Radio Humberside. Who knows, we may even make it onto the telly for a chat with Peter Levy.
There's also a large poster in Hull University Union and a couple in Hull Truck Theatre (pictured). If you would like any A3 posters or A6 flyers for your business, friends, local shop, gym, car window or to wear on your face, please do email me: firstname.lastname@example.org
And in case you haven't noticed, tickets are now on sale, so book yours now!
